We always appreciate more help running the Group. We have enough children on the waiting list to open another Beaver Colony and Cub Pack. There are several ways in which help can be given as shown below. Why should the kids have all the fun?
- Section Leader / Helper. More Leaders and Helpers especially with the
lower age range will help us to take more boys & girls off the waiting list. All
training is provided as well as help and support from other leaders.
- Skills Instructor / Badge Tester. Have you a hobby that you would
like to share with other people? This could be anything from abseiling
through to water sports, including, (but not limited to); archery, angling,
arts and crafts, cooking, DIY, hill walking, IT, martial arts, model making,
nature, rock climbing and sports enthusiast.
- Executive (Management) Committee member. The Executive committee meet once
a month for approximately 2 hours to manage the operation of the group and
to plan future fund raising and social events.
- Headquarters Maintenance.
- Event helper. Help at a specific social or fundraising event even by just attending.
